Description
Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) at The Stone Clinic
At The Stone Clinic, we don’t just provide standard orthopedic treatments; we help our patients Play Forever. For over 30 years, Dr. Kevin Stone and our team have pioneered a biologic approach to orthopedics—rebuilding and regenerating joints (meniscus transplantation, biologic injections, advanced ligament repair) rather than resorting to traditional metal and plastic replacements.
We are seeking a high-energy, clinically sharp Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to join our elite StoneFit Rehab Team. In this role, you won't just be doing administrative intakes or standing on the sidelines. You will be an integral, hands-on provider delivering advanced manual therapy and comprehensive physical therapy treatments to get Olympic, professional, and everyday athletes back fitter, faster, and stronger.
What You’ll Do
As an ATC within our Rehab department, you will utilize your full clinical scope to design, progress, and execute high-performance rehabilitation programs.
Hands-On Treatment Delivery: Provide direct, individualized physical therapy treatments, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education tailored to both non-operative and complex post-surgical patients. Manual Therapy Excellence: Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques (soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, myofascial release) to optimize patient outcomes, restore mobility, and accelerate healing. Collaborative Care: Work side-by-side with our physical therapists, athletic trainers, and orthopedic team to co-manage patient care plans, ensuring a seamless, elite rehabilitation experience. Biomechanics & Progression: Conduct specialized movement screens and gait analyses to guide patients through functional progressions, bridging the gap between acute clinical rehab and high-performance return-to-sport conditioning. Patient Education: Act as a trusted resource, educating patients on our pioneering biologic procedures, joint preservation strategies, and long-term joint health.
Who You Are
We are seeking an ATC who pairs exceptional diagnostic and manual skills with an elite "bedside manner." You love the science of human movement and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced clinic environment.
Credentials: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from a CAATE-accredited program. Certification: Current BOC certification in good standing. Experience: 2+ years of experience in an orthopedic physical therapy clinic, collegiate/professional sports, or a high-performance rehab setting. Strong background in manual therapy is highly preferred. Skills: Exceptional hands-on treatment and manual assessment skills, deep understanding of therapeutic exercise progression, and the ability to inspire and motivate patients. Mindset: A proactive teammate who takes extreme pride in patient outcomes and values continuous clinical learning.
Why The Stone Clinic?

Unparalleled Learning Environment: Work daily alongside global pioneers in meniscus transplantation and orthobiologics. You will expand your manual and clinical knowledge far beyond traditional orthopedic boundaries.
