Murray State University is a comprehensive regional teaching institution located in western Kentucky with an enrollment of approximately 10,000 graduate and undergraduate students. Murray is located approximately 40 miles south of Paducah, KY, 160 miles Northwest of Nashville, TN and 200 miles Southwest of Louisville, KY. Murray State is a charter member of the Ohio Valley Conference, an NCAA Division I athletic conference (FCS Division Football). Murray is located just minutes from Land Between the Lakes National Recreational area and is a fabulous location for people interested in outdoor activities. Cost of living is very reasonable.
