NHMI is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the advancement of knowledge in musculoskeletal care and sports medicine and to promoting and providing a safe sports environment for athletes.
Company History
NHMI was founded in 1993. Programs include the nation's oldest post-professional residency for athletic trainers, continuing medical education for healthcare professionals, sports medicine research and the Safe Sports Network which is dedicated to providing sports medicine for the underserved athlete. Safe Sports provides athletic trainers at 9 local high schools, operates a free injury drop-in clinic and provides comprehensive concussion management programs for youth/recreational sports leagues. ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED TO ATHLETES FREE OF CHARGE.
