Founded in 1972, Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster (OAL) is one of the most respected medical practices in the area – providing trusted care for generations throughout Central Pennsylvania. With locations in Lancaster, Willow Street and near Manheim and Mount Joy at Spooky Nook Sports, OAL is consistently recognized for employing the latest technology, patient-friendly staff and most advanced medical procedures.

Our team of surgeons specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of all orthopedic conditions and injuries: hand and wrist, shoulder and elbow, hip and knee, neck and back, foot and ankle, trauma and fractures, total joint replacement, pediatrics, sports medicine and work injuries. We are deeply invested in providing the most advanced medical treatments available and our physicians are with you every step of the way.

In addition to treating recreational and occupational injuries in physically active adults, OAL doctors specialize in treating sports-related injuries in grade school, high school, collegiate and professional athletes. In 2013, the U.S. Women's National Field Hockey team selected OAL to be their team physicians.

In fact, we are also the team doctors for many area schools, including: Hempfield High School, Lancaster Catholic High School, Conestoga Valley High School, and Manheim Township High School, as well as for the Lancaster Barnstormers professional baseball team. OAL is also the team doctors Steven’s College of Technology and orthopedic consultants for F&M College.

For over 20 years, and since the inception, we have provided exclusive orthopedic trauma services to Lancaster General Hospital. OAL covers 100% of orthopedic trauma calls and 99% of general orthopedic calls. Our commitment to the local community also extends to local school districts and charitable organizations. We provide a staff physician and athletic trainer to support the coaches, student athletes and parents.
