Vermont Academy is a small secondary school (9-PG), primarily boarding in nature, that sees the potential and value of every student and prepares them to thrive in college and life. We are committed to helping our students discover their talents while developing the character, skills, strength, and values that will help them grow into confident, independent learners who give back to their community and to the world. Our small community and classes, dedicated faculty, rigorous curriculum, and wide range of athletics and activities—set on our 450-acre campus nestled in the foothills of the Green Mountains of Vermont—encourage every student to grow and discover his or her voice.

Company History
Vermont Academy was chartered in 1872 and opened its doors in the fall of 1876. The school was founded by the Vermont Baptist Convention and was associated with that denomination for the first 60 years of its history. From the beginning, students came from all over the country and from many foreign nations.
