The Athletics Department at New Jersey Institute of Technology invites applications for a part-time Certified Athletic Trainer. This will be a 9-month position running from approximately Aug 11 - May 12 . New Jersey Institute of Technology is an NCAA Division I program, sponsoring 19 varsity sports. This position reports to the Head Athletic Trainer and primarily will be working with our Women's Volleyball program.

Job Responsibilities: Assist with daily operations of the Athletic Training Room, including, but not limited to: injury prevention, evaluation, management, and treatment of athletic injuries, short-term and long-term rehabilitation of athletic injuries, and athletics-related health care administration in consultation with and under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer, Team Physician, and other qualified medical personnel. Other duties include assisting in coverage of the New Jersey Institute of Technology athletic training facility and other home events as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer. Must be willing to travel and work weekends. The position will pay a salary of $30,000 over 9 months from August 11, 2026 through May 12, 2027.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Athletic Training
Current CPR/AED Professional Rescuer Certification
Eligible for New Jersey licensure, must obtain license prior to start date
Must be NATABOC certified
