Description
Illinois State University Intercollegiate Athletics is currently accepting applications for two (2) assistant/associate athletic trainers. Illinois State University is a member of the Missouri Valley Conference with 18 Division I sports and approximately 400 student-athletes. Primary sport assignment includes (but is not limited to) Men's Basketball and Men's and Women's Track & Field.
This is a 12-month position that requires providing treatment, rehabilitation, and health care management of assigned team's student-athletes. Positions will require travel with assigned team. This position may also require being a preceptor within the athletic training education program. Administrative duties to be determined by the Head Athletic Trainer.
Position includes full benefits package and inclusion in the State University Retirement System.

Requirements
Required
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Athletic Training from CAATE accredited program
BOC Certification and possession of a State of Illinois Athletic Training License at time of hire
Current BLS Provider Certification
Preferred Qualifications
For Men's Basketball position, previous experience with a collegiate or professional basketball team is expected
For Track & Field position, all experiences welcome, including new graduates

Salary and job title will be based on amount, type, and quality of experience. Minimum salary for both positions is $50,000
