Assistant Athletic Trainer
The University of Richmond Athletic Department is seeking qualified applicants for a position of Assistant Athletic Trainer. The University (www.richmond.edu) is a national and international ranked private university with approximately 3,000 students located in Richmond, Virginia. The University of Richmond is a member of NCAA Division I and the Atlantic 10 Conference and Patriot League (Football only). As a key member of the University of Richmond Sports Medicine Team, the Athletic Trainer will be an active part in the 5 domains of athletic training: prevention of athletic injuries, recognition, evaluation and immediate care of athletic injuries, rehabilitation and reconditioning of athletic injuries, health care administration and professional development and responsibility.
This position reports to the Head Football Athletic Trainer. This position will provide comprehensive healthcare and injury prevention services for the Football (Assistant FB AT)
Master’s Degree is required. BOC Certified. Eligible for Commonwealth of Virginia State licensure (must possess state license at time of employment), CPR/AED/First Aid certified.

Requirements
Master’s Degree is required. BOC Certified. Eligible for Commonwealth of Virginia State licensure (must possess state license at time of employment), CPR/AED/First Aid certified.
