 Certified Athletic Trainer - Full-time

The successful candidate will:

   Promote 21st century educational excellence through the vigorous support of the mission and goals of The Woodstock Academy; and

   Facilitate individual, departmental and school excellence through the support of high-quality personnel, reinforcement of best instructional practices, encouragement of a culture of collaboration and a focus on learning.

Minimum qualifications:

   Bachelor’s Degree, BOC certification, and CT licensed OR eligible;

   Master's Degree preferred;

   3-5 years’ experience in secondary schools preferred;

   Maintain current certification in Healthcare Provider BLS;

   Experience actively coordinating care between interdisciplinary healthcare providers;

   Experience with Impact/Sway testing, sideline concussion testing, concussion management and education;

   Experience using SportsWare or other injury tracking software

   Practice parameters set forth by The National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and will follow both the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics as set forth by the NATA;

   Demonstrated excellence in human relations and organization skills;

   Strong work ethic and a flexible schedule;

   Positive attitude, integrity, and collaboration skills; and

   Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
