Description
Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville (BHDM) has an immediate opening for an athletic trainer. This position is an existing position open to all from new grads to experienced ATs. It is an outreach only position at a public high school in Western Kentucky. Primary responsibilities include providing athletic training services for approximately 300 student-athletes with competitive athletic teams. The school has a long-standing relationship with BHDM as well as very supportive school administration and coaches.
The department of Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation provides for inpatient therapy needs at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville as well as outpatient care in three clinics (Madisonville, Hopkinsville, and Princeton.) The Madisonville facility has been providing outreach athletic training coverage to this school system for over 30 years.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited university in Athletic Training. Master’s Degree preferred in either Athletic Training or a related field from an accredited university. Certified Athletic Trainer/National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (NATA BOC), Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure (KBML). BCLS required. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two years previous experience preferred; skill competency level preferred and effective communication skills highly desirable.
