Multi-Specialty Orthopedic group with multiple locations in Wake County, NC is seeking a full-time Certified Athletic Trainer to provide outreach coverage at a Raleigh Area High School. We offer a unique work environment promoting personal and professional growth; with competitive salary.
The Athletic Trainer plays a critical role in promoting the health, safety, and performance of student-athletes. This position focuses on providing expert injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to young athletes, ensuring they can participate safely in their sports activities. The role involves collaborating closely with coaches, parents, school administrators, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive athletic training programs tailored to the needs of each school community.

Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site evaluations and provide immediate care for athletic injuries in various community and outreach settings.
Develop and implement injury prevention and wellness programs tailored to the needs of diverse populations.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and community organizations to coordinate care and promote health education.
Maintain accurate records of treatments, progress, and program outcomes to ensure compliance and facilitate continuous improvement.
Educate athletes, coaches, and parents on proper training techniques, injury prevention, and rehabilitation protocols.
Stay current with best practices, research, and regulatory requirements related to athletic training and community health.
Qualifications: Certified Athletic Trainer credential with BOC certification and state licensure
