Description
The Department of Sports Medicine in Athletics at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Director of Athletic Training for Wrestling.
About the Opportunity
This position provides athletic training services and/or supervision of Wrestling of the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic related injuries.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in athletic training and licensure with 4 years of experience OR Master's degree and 2 years board certification credentials
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer
- Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Maintain high standard of ethics and integrity related to intercollegiate athletics
- Demonstrated knowledge of Division I (FBS) intercollegiate athletics
- Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA and conference policies, rules, regulations and guidelines and ability to apply and enforce those rules
- Maintain knowledge of state and University policies and procedures
- Maintain Board of Certification credentials, First Aid, AED and CPR credentials
Preferred Qualifications
- CAATE accredited athletic training curriculum
- Clinical supervision of athletic training students
- Experience within NCAA Division 1
