Performance & Wellness Specialist (ATC Preferred)
Position Summary
Breakthrough Sports Performance, a Confluent Health partner, is seeking a highly motivated Performance & Wellness Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. This position is responsible for delivering individualized wellness, fitness, movement, and performance services to clients ranging from active adults and golfers to recreational and competitive athletes.
The successful candidate will utilize evidence-based assessment, exercise prescription, movement analysis, and coaching strategies to help clients improve health outcomes, physical performance, body composition, and overall quality of life. Athletic Trainers are encouraged to apply, and candidates with strength and conditioning, golf performance, PRI, and TPI experience are strongly preferred.

Requirements
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
Experience coaching golfers and understanding golf-specific movement demands.
Demonstrated knowledge of exercise prescription and strength training principles.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.
Preferred:
Board of Certification (BOC) Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC)
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) training or experience
Experience working with active adults, golfers, and wellness-focused populations
Experience interpreting physiological or body composition testing data
Physical Requirements:
Ability to demonstrate exercises and movement techniques.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, lift, and coach for extended periods
Ability to safely lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in a dynamic fitness and performance environment
