Description
Fluid Mosaic Method is a premier, concierge solo PM&R practice specializing in integrative orthobiologics, kinetic restoration, and regenerative medicine. Operating in a brand-new, luxury facility in the Beverly Hills Golden Triangle, we offer an elegant, private-pay environment dedicated to restoring structural mechanics and systemic health. We are launching our state-of-the-art Gait Analysis and Restoration Hub and are seeking a highly skilled Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to anchor and manage this dynamic department.
Position Overview:
Working under the direct supervision of the founding physician, Danielle Aufiero, MD, the Clinical Athletic Trainer will run our advanced movement and therapeutic hub. This individual will handle high-level assessment mapping for gait analysis, neuromuscular biofeedback coaching, energy-based tissue therapies (shockwave, EMTT, laser), and Heart Rate Variability (HRV) Biofeedback. This is an elite clinical role requiring strong communication, exercise architecture, and advanced anatomy skills, combined with a polished demeanor appropriate for a luxury concierge practice.
Core Clinical Duties (Executed under physician supervision & prescription):
- Gait & Kinetic Analysis: Conduct detailed gait analysis utilizing specialized sEMG systems, motion-detection wearables, and synchronized video capture for subsequent physician diagnostic review.
Neuromuscular Biofeedback: Utilize specialized biofeedback software to run objective muscle activation studies and actively coach patients to precisely engage targeted muscle groups.
Ultrasound Synergy: Collaborate with our musculoskeletal ultrasound technician for exact sEMG sensor placement on targeted muscle groups as indicated for gait and biofeedback modules.
Exercise Architecture: Instruct, model, and teach customized home exercise programs tailored to physician prescriptions—focusing on sport-specific metrics, bone density building, muscle strength, and post-orthobiologic recovery tracking. - Advanced Modality Administration: Operate premium, non-invasive tissue therapies, including administering focal and radial shockwave therapy, precise patient positioning for robotic Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Therapy (EMTT), and class IV laser therapy.
- Heart Rate Variability (HRV-B): Function as the dedicated technician for Heart Rate Variability Biofeedback sessions to evaluate and help optimize patient autonomic tone.
Care Coordination & Administrative Duties:
- Longitudinal Patient Tracking: Manage structured post-procedure touchpoints, including conducting follow-up phone call recovery assessments at 2 weeks and 12 weeks post-treatment to map outcomes.
- Data Collection: Handle seamless data entry into the DataBiologics platform for orthobiologic and gait metrics/outcomes.
- Ecosystem Management: Oversee the organization, pristine presentation, and daily operational flow of the Gait and Restoration suite.
- Clinical Support: Assist the physician with obtaining patient histories during lower-volume hours, and occasionally support front desk flow as a collaborative team player.
- Product Integration: Maintain thorough knowledge of boutique clinic retail lines (specialized bracing, CBD topicals) to make appropriate patient recommendations under physician oversight.
What We Offer & Fully Fund:
- Advanced Certifications: We completely cover the cost for you to become formally certified in HRV Biofeedback through Thought Technology.
- Specialized Training: Comprehensive technical training on advanced shockwave protocols through Curamedix, alongside dedicated training for gait analysis and biofeedback modules.
- Premium Work Environment: A predictable, Monday-through-Friday clinical schedule entirely free from traditional insurance constraints, team travel, or late-night field hours.
- Benefits: 401K (after a 3-month introductory period), fully paid nearby monthly garage parking, and 50% medical insurance coverage.
Requirements
- Credentials: Current, valid Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) credential in good standing with the BOC (strictly required per CA AB 796 Title Protection). Strong foundational background in biomechanics, kinesiology, or exercise physiology.
- Experience: Prior experience working within a clinical practice, outpatient sports medicine clinic, or specialist physician's office is highly preferred. Aptitude in PC systems.
- Industry Exposure: A foundational understanding of or exposure to orthobiologics, musculoskeletal ultrasound, or regenerative medicine concepts is ideal but not critical.
- Professionalism: Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and a polished, articulate demeanor tailored to elite, high-end clientele.
